OBITUARY:
The remains of Chester A. Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Simmons, arrived in Gervais Thursday of last week and funeral services were conducted at the Pioneer church at 2 o'clock, p. m. Sunday, the procession leaving Gervais at 1:30 p.m. Rev. R. W. Achor conducted the services. Interment was made in the Pioneer cemetery. Chester A. Simmons was 31 years old and was born in Oregon. He was a Private in Company G. 322nd Infantry.
