England, along with Sarah Jo., age 19, Nancy, age 15, Mary, age 12, Rebecca, age 11, and Gertrude, age 1, all born in Michigan. [Note: this family is living next door to the Peter and Catherine Baker family, including Estella Baker]; 1880 CENSUS - Thomas Harrison, age 27, farmer, b. Michigan, is enumerated with wife Stella, age 22, b. Michigan, along with Edith, age 1, b. Michigan, Ethel, age 1, b. Michigan. Also enumerated with the family is Mary Harrison, identified as sister, age 23, school teacher, b. Michigan. 1910 CENSUS - Thomas Harrison, age 57, farmer, b. Michigan, is enumerated with wife of 32 years, Stella, age 52, b. Michigan, along with son Richard, age 16, b. Wisconsin;
OBITUARY: 
Thomas Harrison, whose death was announced last week, was born in Sturgis, Michigan, in the year of 1852 on the 15th of September; was married September 18th, 1877 at Sturgis, Michigan to Estella Baker. Moved to Wyocena, Wis. in 1879, where he lived until 1900, when he came to Oregon and settled on the farm where he lived until his death. He leaves a wife, four daughters and two sons, who were all with him when he passed away. They are Mrs. John Otto, Portago, Wis.; Mrs. Emil Carlson of Ione, Oregon; Mrs. Harry Hugill, of Hoff, Oregon; Mrs. John Moore, Thermopolis, Wyoming; and George and Richard Harrison of Gervais; also five sisters. Mrs. Sarah Rippey, Mrs. John Gilbert, Mrs. Jacob Narber and Miss Gertrude Harrison, all of Sturgis, Michigan, and Mrs. Mary Johnson of Hollister, Cal. Mr. Harrison was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge, a man of excellent character, who lived a life that was an example for others to follow. (uncited newspaper clipping)
