DEATH CLAIMS PIONEER.
HARRISON K.  HUNSAKER, SETTLER OF 1850, CALLED.
Demise Marks Passing of Business Man Prominently Identified With Early History of Portland.
Harrison King Hunsaker, pioneer of Oregon and Portland business man, died yesterday at the age of 80.
He was a native of Missouri and came to California in 1848, moving to Oregon in 1850. A short time later Mr. Hunsaker returned to California. He was married to Miss Susana Jones, of Marion County, in 1860, and in 1873 they removed to Oregon, residing here since that time. He was in the custom brokerage business in Portland for a number of years, and retired seveal years ago because of advancing age and illness.
The funeral services will be held from the Edward Holman Company chapel Thursday at 11:30. Interment will be in the Pioneer Cemetery, Gervais, Or., at 4 o'clock.
Mr. Hunsaker is survived by two daughters - Mrs. F. L. Litherland, of 1239 Rodney avenue, with whom he resided, and Mrs. F. A. West, of Oakland, Cal. There are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
