1900 COR CENSUS - Susanna Hunsaker, age 57, b. Oct 1842 in Indiana, mother of 6 children, 4 oh whom are living at the time of the census, is enumerated with her husband of 40 years, Harrison K., age 62, b. Apr 1838 in Missouri.
OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Susana Jones Hunsaker, one of the oldest residents of this part of the state, died Monday at her home in Woodburn. The funeral was held at the Pioneer church Wednesday at 10 o’clock. Mrs. Jones [Hunsaker], who had reached the age of 80 years, came to this country in 1862, 61 years ago. Her father was S.W.R. Jones, one of the early pioneers and workers who helped to make the state great. Her husband, Harrison Hunsaker, died about 10 years ago. She had lived on French Prairie and in Portland practically the whole time since she first came here during the Civil War. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Litherland of Sacramento, Cal., and Mrs. Zoe West of Berkley; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Simmons of Woodburn and Mrs. Sarah Clark of Portland, and two brothers, M. L. Jones and Scott Jones of Gervais, and a son, Arthur E. of Los Angeles. Her two sisters and two brothers were present at the funeral services.
