OBITUARY:
Funeral services for Ivy B. Jones will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Rigdon's chapel, Salem, with the Colonial mortuary conducting the services. Burial will be vault entombment at Pioneer cemetery, Salem. Mrs. Jones lived her entire life in Oregon. She was born September 13, 1877, at Wheatland. She has been a member of the Evangelical chruch, Clear Lake, for more than 60 years and was also a member of the Royal Neighbors, Labish.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Root, Portland; Mrs. Fay Hudson, Rainier, and Mrs. Lenore Partridge, Monmouth; five sons, Burke Jones, Lynn Jones and Bruce Jones, all of Portland; Rex Jones, Hillsboro; and Keith Jones, Eugene.
She is also survived by three brothers, Dr. W. H. Barendrick, McMinnville; Arthur W. Barendrick, Portland, and Dr. E. H. Barendrick, Montana; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Deck and Mrs. Lena Ramp, both of Hillsboro, and Mrs. Nina Shiffer, Portland; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
