1880 OR CENSUS - R. D. Vibbert, male, single, age 19, occupation brickmaker, b. Pennsylvania, is enumerated with R. H., age 56, b. Ohio, occupation carpenter, and Margaret, age 45, b. Pennsylvania, along with L. J., male, single, age 25, occupation carpenter, James G., age 12, and Bessie, age 9, all born in Pennsylvania.
MARRIAGE - R. D. Vibert, over 21 of Wasco Co., OR, & Mildred Farrell, over 18, m 22 May 1898 at house of & by C. B. Bacon, M.G., 1st Baptist Church, Salem. Aff: L. J. Vibbert. Wit: Winifred Fennell & Will D. Carlisle #5490 pg 174".
1910 OR CENSUS - R. Delbert Vibbert, age 49, farm laborer, b. Pennsylvania, is enumerated with his wife of 11 years, Mildred N., age 40, b. Oregon, and daughter E. Fay, age 10, b. Oregon. Also enumerated within the household are his parents, Richard H., age 87, b. Ohio, and Margaret M., age 75, b. Pennsylvania.
OBITUARY: 
Richard Delbert Vibbert of Brooks, a resident of Oregon for the past 75 years, died at a Salem hospital Monday at the age of 90 years.
Vibbert, for many years a carpenter in the Willamette valley, was born in Sheshequen, Bradford county, PA., August 10, 1860. He came west with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vibbert at the age of 15 years and for 15 years operated a wheat ranch near The Dalles.
In 1897 he was married to Minnie Farrell at Salem and the couple moved to Brooks in 1908 where he had since resided.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fay Loomis, Brooks; granddaughters, Mrs. Delphine Taylor, Crandall, S.D., Mrs. Bertha Wood and Robert Loomis, both of Brooks; grandsons, Harry Loomis, Portland, and Leroy Loomis, Brooks; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the Clough-Barrick chapel, Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Dudley strain will officiate. Burial will be in the Pioneer cemetery.
