Sweden, year of immigration 1903, along with Emma E., age 4 y's 11 m's, Ellen J., age 3 y's 2 m's, Sarah M., age 1 y 4 m's, and Robert A., [infant], all born in Oregon.

OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Johnson, 50, Fairfield settlement resident for about 24 years, died Friday in Salem hospital she entered following a stroke six weeks ago.
The wife of Carl Johnson, Mrs. Johnson was born Oct. 18, 1904 near Fairview, Iowa. She came to Salem when she was six years old, then moved to Lake Labish and later Fairfield.
Besides the widower she leaves one son, Robert Johnson, Woodburn; daughters, Miss Clara Johnson, Woodburn; Miss Marie Johnson, Salem; Mrs. Emma Shelito, Gervais; Mrs. Ellen Hollin, Brooks; two brothers, Lloyd Mendenhall, Dallas; James Mendenhall, Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Cleveland, Aberdeen, Wash.; Mrs. Ethel Lutz, Salem; Mrs. Mytra Kostemborder, Silverton; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mendenhall, Hoquiam, Wash.; five grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Howell-Edwards funeral home in Salem. Burial will be at Brook Pioneer Cemetery.
