OBITUARY:
Final rites for Charles L. Mendenhall, a former resident of here who died Saturday in a Vancouver, Wash., hospital, will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Memorial Chapel of the Ekman’s Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Brooks.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ellen Mendenhall, Vancouver; two sons, Jes Mendenhall, Salem, Lloyd Mendenhall, Dallas, Ore.; daughters, Myrta Kostenhorder, Silverton, and Mrs. Mabel Cleveland Grayland, Wash.; 25 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
