OBITUARY:
Mainard V. Wane, 78, of 3481 Brooklake Road NE, died Friday at a Salem Hospital.
A retired farmer, Wane was born in Iowa. He had lived in Salem 61 years and was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include widow Emma E.; daughter Mrs. Dorothy Lander, Albany; brother Hugh, Salem; four grandchildren and eight great-granchildren.
Services are pending at Barrick mortuary.
