OBITUARY:
Sterlin P. McCollum, 73, of 4703 Portland Road NE, died Thursday at a Salem nursing home.
Born in Arkansas, he lived in Salem since 1966 when he retired as a heavy equipment operator with Oregon State Highway Department. He was a member of Oregon State Employees Association.
Survivors include widow, Olene L.; sisters, Jane M. Cutsforth, Gervais; Ethel M. Rickard, Salem; brothers, Alba L., Silverton, Claud Holdenville, Okla.
