OBITUARY: 
December 18, 1923 -- June 16, 1995
WOODBURN -- George Dickenson, 71, died Friday in his home.
A California native, he moved to Woodburn in 1923 and served in the Navy during World War II. He then worked as a truck driver.
He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 46 in Woodburn, where he served on the Honor Guard.
Survivors include wife, Benny; sons, John, Michael and Daniel, all of Woodburn; daughters Kathleen McSweeney and Jean Dickenson, both of Portland; brother, Paul Dickenson of Woodburn; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Cornwell mortuary.
