OBITUARY:
A private family service will be held for Ada Louise Jordan, who died Aug. 16, 1997, at age 77.
Mrs. Jordan was born March 3, 1920, in Oregon City. Her maiden name was Stanley. She was a waitress in Canby and Bay City, retiring in 1961. She married Cleo in 1961; he died in 1974.
Survivors include her sons, Eric Cruikshank and Stan Cruikshank, both of Oregon City, Roger Cruikshank of Salem and Richard Cruikshank of Canby; stepdaughters, Pat Cruikshank of Salem, Sharon Hopp of Gladstone, Caroldean Jewell of Gresham and Pat Markell of Portland; brother, Jim Stanley, and sister, Beatrice Moon, both of Milwaukie; 26 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society. Hillside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
