OBITUARY: 
SUBLIMITY — Hattie Nisbet, 88, died Saturday.
She was born in Brooks and graduated from Salem High School in 1929. She attended Willamette University and married Kenneth Golliet in 1938. They lived in Salem and moved to Mehama in 1946. They opened Golliet’s Hardware and Grocery Store. Her husband died in 1965. She owned the Calico Cat Antique & Gift Store until 1980. She was active in preserving the Old Mehama School, Brooks Pioneer Cemetery and Brooks Railroad Depot. She was a member of the Horseless Carriage Club of America, Willamette Historical Auto Club, Salem Saddle Club and Eastern Star. She was on the board of Santiam Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Alexander Nisbet, whom she married in 1979; daughter, Harriet Taylor of Bonita, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Brooks Pioneer Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton.
Contributions: Old Mehama School in care of North Santiam School District or Special Horses for Special People in Amity.
