OBITUARY: May 22, 1924 - January 28, 2000.
Harry Ratzloff, 75, of Salem died Friday of cardiac arrest.
He was born in Lehigh, Kan. He was a famer when he was a young man and worked for Santa Fe Railroad. He was a sheetmetal worker in the manufactured housing industry until retiring in 1979. He enjoyed music, guitar and church activities.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, whom he married in 1946; daughters, Julie Patterson of Vancouver, Wash., and Teresa Baker of Astoria; son, Ken of Salem; brother, Sam of Hillsboro, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be noon to 8 p.m. today in Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Salem Christian Center where he was a member. Interment will be in Brooks Pioneer Cemetery. Contributions: church senior citizens fund.
