OBITUARY:
Clovis, Calif. - Jeffrey “Dann” Walker Sr., 51, died Wednesday. Cause of death was unavailable.
Born in Denton, Texas, he served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an evangelist with the Church of Christ for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Michele; sons, Jeffery Jr. and Travis, both of Dallas; daughter, Tawnie Speer of Orange, Calif.; sister, Sherri Lemmon of Salem; brother, Michael Lemmon of Salem; mother, Helen “Sue” Hook of Salem; grandmother, Bertha Shirley of Salem; and three grandchildren.
Visiting will be noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Chapel of the Gardens. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ, 3745 Market Street NE, Salem. Graveside services with military honors will follow at Brooks Pioneer Cemetery.
