DISCREPANCY - DC and 1930 census give place of birth as Illinois, but 1920 census gives Sweden, with immigration in 1906. OBITUARY:  Charles Edward Dahlman, age 49 years - at a local hospital January 27. Late resident of route two, box 155B. Survived by widow, Mayo R. Dahlman; children Keith, Kenneth, Verne, Doris, all of Salem. Funeral services will be held from the Clough-Barrick chapel Saturday, Jan. 30, at 1:30 p. m., with Rev. Guy L. Drill officiating.
