Evans, passed away after a brief illness. Mrs. Evans was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marten Benson, of route 2, Gervais, and is survived by her husband, parents, and two sisters, Mrs. John Schulte, of Shedd, and Miss Minnie Benson of Waconda. The funeral was held on Wednesday from the Rigdon mortuary, Salem, with interment at the Pioneer cemetery.
