DISCREPANCY - obituary of husband George, gives year of their marriage as 1872, but she is enumerated with him as his wife in the 1870 census - and 1900 census indicates that they have been married for 32 years. OBITUARY:  Mary Deffenbaugh Dunn was born in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, Oct. 3, 1848, and departed this life Jan. 26, 1926, just three days before her husband, at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 23 days. They were both faithful members of the Methodist church. The children left to mourn the loss of their father and mother are: Mathias A. Dunn, Raleigh O. Dunn, Leslie E. Dunn of North Howell; Carry M. Dunn of Portland, and Mrs. Nettie Leaders of Newberg. Besides 33 grand-children and 7 great grand-children. Joint funeral services were held at the Pioneer Church with Rev. Hall of Silverton officiating. Burial was in the Pioneer cemetery.
