Also enumerated with the family are 2 granddaughters, Mary Faine, age 15, and Alma Faine, age 14, both born in Oregon.

1900 OR CENSUS - Scott Jones, age 39, b. Apr 1861 in Oregon, occupation farmer, is enumerated with his wife of 13 years, Clara, age 40, b. Feb 1860 in Michigan, along with children McMillan, age 11 [sic], b. Sep 1898, and James G., age 0/12, b. May 1900 in Oregon.
1910 OR CENSUS - Scott Jones, age 48, farmer, b. Oregon, is enumerated with his wife of 23 years, Clara, age 45, mother of 4 children, b. Michigan, along with Gordon, age 10, Verne, age 8, and Adelaide, age 7, all born in Oregon. 

BIOGRAPHICAL (From - The Annals Of The S.W.R. Jones Family,PG 82): "Scott Jones was born April 24, 1861, at The Nook Homestead. Of three pairs of twins born to S. W. R. and Elizabeth Jones, Scott and Harrison were the only pair to reach maturity. They were not identical in appearance, as Scott was the taller; but the resemblance became more marked as they grew to manhood, so that occasionally one was mistaken for the other."
OBITUARY: 
January 28, 1938. Scott Jones, 76, well known pioneer of this section, died at the Woodburn hospital Sunday morning. He was born April 1, 1961, on the donation land claim of his parents, S.W.R. and Elizabeth Jones, near Gervais, who crossed the plains to Oregon in 1853 and has lived all of his life as a farmer within a radius of two miles of his birthplace. He was a member and one of the founders of the Gervais Presbyterian church of which he has served as elder for 49 years. Also a member of Fidelity Lodge, No. 51, A.F. & A.M., of Gervais, of which he was a past master, and Gervais chapter, No. 118, Order of the Eastern Star. He was graduated from Willamette university and was a classmate and close friend of Edgar B. Paper of the Oregonian.
January 10, 1887, he married Clara Jane Hicks, who survives him. They were the first couple to be married in the local Presbyterian church. Also survived by three sons, A. McMillan Jones of Longview, Gordon at home and Verne of Salem; one daughter, Mrs. Adelaide Toomb of Salem; a brother, M.L. Jones of Salem and a sister, Mrs. C.F. Clarke of Portland, and nine grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Jones celebrated their golden wedding last January.
