L., age 40, occupation, running a rooming house, b. Nov 1859 in Oregon, is enumerated with his wife of 10 years, Dora Ritchey, age 48, b. Jul 1851 in Germany. OBITUARY:  Henry L. Ritchey, age 80, brother of George Richey [sic] and Mrs. E. W. Manning of Gervais, died at his home in Portland, Sunday, September 1, 1940. Two other brothers, John and Riley Ritchey of Salem also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Rigdon chapel in Salem, and burial was in Pioneer cemetery north of Gervais.
