OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Marie Harrison died at Silverton hospital Sunday. She was born at Moline, Ill., January 4, 1891. She had lived at Gervais seven years and was a member of Gervais chapter 118, OES. Survivors include the widower, George B. Harrison; one son, Floyd Simmermasher [Simmermacher] of Portland; sisters, Mrs. W. E. Blatt of San Francisco, Mrs. G. W. Bloomquist of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. P. J. Clifford of Watertown, Wis., and a brother, William Minck of Spawick, SD. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday at the Ringo chapel in Woodburn and interment will be at Pioneer cemetery. Oregon Statesman [newspaper clipping, not dated]
