OBITUARY: 
MRS. MINNIE SIEGMUND, OLD PIONEER, PASSES ON. 
Mrs. Minnie Wade Siegmund, who was born on the home place near Gervais in 1861, died last Friday at the Woodburn hospital. She had spent her entire life in this region. She was the daughter of Murray A. Wade and Nancy Jane Wade, early pioneers. She belonged to the Gervais Presbyterian church and the Harmony Rebekah lodge No. 75 of Gervais. 
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Gervais Presbyterian church, with Ringo in charge of arrangements. Rev. James Akon Smith officiated. Pallbearers were Ralph S. Harper, John S. Banick, Frank Rebman, Gordon Jones, Buford Brown and Ross Cutsforth. 
Survivors include the widower A. R. Siegmund, a brother Frank Wade, a sister Ida Wade and aunt Mrs. Anna E. Siegmund. Woodburn Independent [newspaper clipping, not dated]
