OBITUARY: 
In this city, Thursday, February 6, Joseph Martin, aged 71 years, late resident of 1145 Saginaw street. Husband of Jennie A. Martin, and father of Hugh Albert Martin of Redmond, Rodney J., and Claude W. Martin of Salem; also survived by several nephews. A member of the IOOF lodge for 50 years and employed by the Salem water department for 48 years. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the W. T. Rigdon company Sunday, February 9 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. H. C. Stover will officiate, and ritualistic services by Chemeketa Chapter No. 1 IOOF. Concluding services Pioneer cemetery.
