Catching, 82, died at his home here Saturday following a heart attack. He had lived in Mount Angel for 18 years and had been caretaker for the Kloft Farm. Born November 11, 1871, at Canyonville, Oregon. He is survived by his widow, Effie Catching of Mt. Angel; a son, Eugene Catching, Southgate, Calif.
