OBITUARY: 
Jesse Albert Ricketts, 78, resident of Brooks, Route 1 since 1943, died at his home Tuesday following a heart attack. Funeral arrangements are pending at Howell-Edwards Funeral Home in Salem.
Mr. Ricketts was born in Missouri in 1879 and went to Shawnee, Okla., when nine years of age. On October 23, 1904, he married Cora Moore who survives. The couple moved to Salem in 1928 and to Brooks in 1943. He was a farmer and a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors in addition to the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Thomas and Mrs. Agnes Hamann of Salem; five sons, Richard of Reno, Nev., Lester of Babbitt, Nev., Alvie of Salem, Vernon of Milton-Freewater, and Raymond of Brooks.
