Rose A. Kirkwood, 71, 1045 N. 5th St., died at home Tuesday of an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Kirkwood was born in Mount Angel and lived in the Mount Angel and Gervais area all her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gervais.
Surviving are son Richard, Salem; daughters Cecelia McDermeit, Gervais, and Barbara J. Dagenhardt, Bend; brothers Ed Berhorst, Corvallis, and Albert Berhorst, Amity; sisters Ann Trund, Newberg, and Frances Haynes, Philomath; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn. Mass will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary with Father Marcus Guthe officiating. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
