OBITUARY:  Merle F. Ramp, 86, 9415 Portland Road NE, died Monday in a local nursing home. Mrs. Ramp was born in Brooks and lived near here most of her life. She was a 50-year member of White Shrine and a member of Daughters of the Nile and Order of Eastern Star in Gervais. She was the widow of George Ramp. She is survived by daughter Hattie Ramp Golliet, Mehama; two grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Virgil T. Golden mortuary, James Fones and OES officiating. Interment will be in Brooks Pioneer Cemetery. The family suggest contribution to Gervais Mason.  [newspaper clipping, not cited] Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Virgil T.
