OBITUARY: KEIZER - Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Salem Gospel Hall for Elmer I. Babb, 68, of 1088 Oakwood St. NE, who died Sunday.
Born on Long Island, N.Y., he moved here in 1969. He was a sales clerk at Les Newman’s Men’s Store for eight years and a member of the Assembly of Christians.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice E., daughters, Esther E. Tolo, Hartford, Conn., Phyllis A. Perkins, Silverton, and Connie L. Cox, Salem; brothers, Donald, East Hartford, Conn., and Louis, Carter, Ark.; and sisters, Beatrice Bowell, Saugus, Mass., Pearl Ward, Manchester, Conn., Nina Schaffer, Fort Worth, Fla., Lois Davis, East Hartford, and Thelma Denski, West Palm Beach, Fla.
Interment will be in Brooks Pioneer Cemetery, under the direction of Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary, Salem.
