Boaz, 61, of Salem, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn. Interment will follow in the Pioneer Cemetery, Brooks. She was born in Ford Smith, Ark., and grew up in Kansas. She came to Oregon from Arizona in 1943. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Brooks. She was a volunteer in taking care of children. Survivers include her son, Eldon, of Salem; daughters, Faye Eli, Nancy Roan and Lana Wilkey, all of Salem, Barbara Woosley of West Stayton, and Joyce Wiley of Yakkima, Wash., brother Robert Beaver of Blythe, Calif., and sisters Bessie Nork and Florence Killingsworth, both of Salem, Dorothy Weddle of Lincoln City, Marjorie Blyeth of Gervais, and Evelyn Miller of Elk Grove, Calif.
