Babb, 77, died Monday. She was born in Nottingham, England. She moved to the Salem area in 1969 and to Silverton in 1984. Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Perkins of Silverton, Esther Tolo of Hartford, Conn., and Connie Cox of Salem; and brother Ralph Underwood of Menlo Park, Calif. Services will begin at 2 p.m. today in Unger mortuary. Interment will follow in the Brooks Pioneer Cemetery, Brooks.
