SUBLIMITY -- John “JJ” Turnbull, 58, died Tuesday.
He was born in New Liskeard, Ontario, Canada, and moved to Salem in 1962. He was a licensed hearing aid specialist and a regional manager for Miracle Ear.
He and his wife, Nona C., were married February 12, 1983, in Stayton.
He was the president of the Sublimity Planning Committee and a member of the American Legion Post 9. He enjoyed sports.
Survivors include his wife; sons, John S. Turnbull and Vince T. Hill; daughters, Kelley Turnbull of Salem and Sheila R. Jones of Anchorage, Alaska; and eight grandchildren.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday in Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary in Salem. Interment will be in Brooks Pioneer Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to st. Timothy Episcopal Church in Salem.
