Friday, Aug. 5, in Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship in Tigard for David Gonzales, who died July 31 of cancer at age 53. Mr. Gonzales was born Sept. 17, 1951, in Tumwater, Wash. He was a self-employed painter. He moved to Tualatin in the 1990's and lived most recently in Tigard. In 1978, he married Diana Beaver. Survivors include his wife; sons, Dave Phillips; Travis Gonzales and Jeremy Phillips; stepson, Benjamin Schneider; stepdaughter, Jennifer Sater; father and stepmother, John and Sharon; and 10 grandchildren.
