OBITUARY:
Sallust – Nettie Reaves [Reeves] was born April 1, 1841 in Putnam county, Indiana. United with the M.E. Church in 1857, was married to J.R. Sallust in 1876, and died January 29, 1893 [1883].
Sister Sallust was an earnest, devoted Christian lady expressing a bright hope of everlasting life in Christ Jesus her Lord. The funeral sermon was from Rev. xvi 13, and was attended by a large concourse of citizens. Her and her infant babe’s earthly house was placed in the casket and laid in the vault to return to it primitive dust. The soul went to God.
