Janey H. Teigen
November 12, 1942 - April 26, 2001
GERVAIS — Janey Teigen, 58, died Thursday of cancer.
Born in Oelwein, Iowa, she graduated from high school in Antioch, Calif., in 1960. She moved to Gervais and was a legal secretary. She enjoyed hiking, biking and tennis.
Survivors include her husband, Everett; daughters, Miriam Peters and Rebekah Cartwright, both of Salem; sons, Gregory of Salem and Chad of Lake Oswego; mother, Betty Wagner of Keizer; sisters, Penny Tywater of Texas, Vicky Figueras of West Linn and Brenda Cutsforth of Alaska; brother, Kenneth Wagner of Alaska; and four grandchildren.
Visiting will be noon to 6 p.m. today at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service in Salem. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Church of God (Seventh Day) in Marion, where she attended. Graveside services will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery. Contributions: memorial fund in her name at any Washington Mutual Bank.
