Turner – Ardith, 75, died July 22, 2013 in Salem. She was born in Salem, grew up in Pedee, living in Monmouth until moving to Turner in 1980. Ardith baby sat for many years and loved children. She worked for over 40 years as a nurses aide at Fairview and Woodland Care Facility. Ardith made an impact on many people’s lives with her compassion and thoughtfulness for the elderly and sick. She enjoyed flower, birds and loved her dog.
Ardith married Ray Markham in Reno, NV. In 1983 [sic - 1981]. She is survived by her husband: Ray of Turner; children: Jim Mole of Beavercreek, Patty Dyett of Dallas and Judy Palmer of Keizer; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Ardith was preceded in death by one sister.
Graveside service will be Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 am at Cloverdale Cemetery in Turner. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
