OBITUARY:
MARION—Verneta N. (Loetz) Cowden, 77, a resident here for three years until moving six months ago, died Sunday in her home in Kings Beach, Calif.
Surviving are a son, Cortney, in Tennessee; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Guillory, Kings Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Victoria Watson, Marion, and Mrs. Leonora Currie, in Canada; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Marion Friends Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton, has charge of arrangements.
