Kermit C. Parker
May 16, 1909- Nov. 17, 1991
LEBANON—Kermit C. Parker, 82, died Sunday in Lebanon.
He was born in Athens, Ark., and was a longtime Oregon resident.
He married Ollie Chism on July 24, 1925, in Mena, Ark.
He did farm work, mill work and logging, retiring in 1962. He enjoyed woodworking and carving.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Fern Chamberlin of Sterling, Alaska, Edna Carter of Lebanon, Imo Neal of Turner, Berta Hampton of Warren, Bernice Methvin of Springfield, Ival McCollum of Sweet Home, Lee Wilson of Gresham and Mary Peterson of Jefferson; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday in Huston mortuary. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the Marion Cemetery. Visiting will be from 1 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the mortuary.
