OBITUARY:
Lawrence W. Stedman
Aug. 3, 1928-Jan. 21, 1991
ARRIBA, Colo.—Lawrence William Stedman, 62, formerly of Albany and Marion, died of heart failure Monday in Hugo, Colo.
He was born in Arriba and lived there until coming to Oregon in 1956. He had lived in Albany for four years and was a longtime Marion resident before returning to Arriba in 1986. He was a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include his daughters, Letha Hunt of Marion, Diana Stewart of Seneca, Kan., and Cherry Stedman of Eugene; son, Bill of Salem; brother, Lester of Arriba; sisters, Mildred Meade of Albany and Dorothy Harwood of Arriba; and seven grandchildren. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Marion Friends Church, with interment in Marion Friends Cemetery. Weddle mortuary of Stayton is handling arrangements.
