At the time of his death he and Elizabeth had been married 29 years.
Survived by wife; and by children Samuel J. Thomas, 27, and wife Nellie (Richard) Thomas of Montana; Della M., age 19, of Marion; Ralph, age 19, of Marion, Mary V., age 13, of Marion; William, age 11, of Marion; Amie, age 8, of Marion; Edward, age 7, of Marion; and Laura, age 2, of Marion. Also survived by siblings David Thomas, age 49, of Montana; Elizabeth Johnson (Edward), age 46, of Arkansas; Anna Burries (George), of New Mexico; Sarah Davies (John), of Pennsylvania; and Ebenezer Price Thomas (Mary), of Montana.

OBITUARY:
The funeral of John Thomas will be held this afternoon at 1:30 from the church at Marion. Member of the I. O. O. F. lodge at Jefferson will officate. The burial will take place at a Marion cemetery.
