OBITUARY:
Peter Mantel Dies – Rites Due Tuesday – Silverton – Peter Mantel, 89 former resident of Silverton, died Saturday at Monmouth.
Born in Holland in 1870, he came to this country as a small boy. He lived in the Silverton area for a number of years. Survivors include two sons in the east.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ekman Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. David Kullowatz will officiate.
