OBITUARY: 
SALEM - Bob was born in Randolph Vermont, and has been a resident of Salem since WWII. He served on a B-17 crew as a gunner-radio man with the Army Air Corps flying missions over Germany. He was highly decorated for his service with the 92nd Bombardment Group and the 326th Bomb Squadron. He enjoyed farming, fishing, golfing, hunting and the outdoors. He was a Mason, belonged to Bryn Seion Welsh Church in Beaver Creek, Ore. and the Four Corners Gun Club. He was proud of his Welsh culture. He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria and daughter Janice and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth M. Williams of Salem; sons and daughters-in-law, John R. & Cynthia of Sequim, Wash. and Jim and Karen of McMinnville, Ore.; stepson, Rick Morgan of Salem. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jennifer Rix, Christina Pool, Kathleen Williams, Carrie Sheets, Dorothy Koss, Moses Williams, Jennifer Staton, Douglas Bray, Loran Bray, and Adam Morgan; and great-granddaughters, Kailey Pool and Kassie Staton. br>Private family services will be held. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
