Jun 1852 in Germany, Julius' wife of 21 years, Rosina, age 38, mother of 10 children, 7 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. Mar 1862 in New York, along with Millie, age 16, b. Dec 1882 in Oregon, Minnie, age 14, b. Mar 1886 in Oregon, Lizzie, age 9, b. Aug 1890 in Oregon, William, identified as brother [of Julius], age 56, farmer, b. Mar 1844 in Germany, year of immigration 1869, and Minnie, identified as mother [of Julius], widow, age 96, b. Sept 1803 in Germany, year of immigration 1869. Also enumerated with the family are two hired hands, Alton Dam, age 38, b. Austria, and John Wright, age 35, b. England;
1930 OR CENSUS - Ed Krenz, age 45, single, b. Oregon, is enumerated with father Julius J. Krenz, widow, age 77, b. Germany, year of immigration 1868, along with sibings Millie, age 46, single, b. Oregon, and Lizzie, age 36, single, b. Oregon;
OBITUARY: 
Silverton – Edward J. Krenz, 99, died Thursday. He was born in the Victor Point area and was a lifelong resident of Silverton. He was a retired welder. He was a member of the Salem Elks Lodge for 60 years.
Survivors include his sister, Bertha Darby of Salem. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday in Unger Mortuary. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Mount Hope Cemetery fund.

Edward Julius Krenz of Silverton died Thursday at Silverton Hospital. He was 99.
Born and raised in the Victor Point area, he completed schooling and spent his whole life here. He was owner-operator of E. J. Krenz Welding Service. He was a member of the Salem Elks Lodge for more than 60 years. Survivors include sister Bertha Darby of Salem; nieces Laurel Doerfler of Salem and Jeanne Nelson of Medford; nephews Richard Krenz of Silverton, Maurice Darby of Stanfield, James Darby of Los Angeles, Calif., Wesley Darby of Salem, Dr. Merlin Darby of Monmouth, and Gerald Darby of Medford.
Funeral services were Monday at Unger Funeral Chapel in Silverton. Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pastor Dale Moore officiated.
Casket bearers were Wally Johnson, Ardel Johnson, David Doerfler, Donald Fisher, Maurice Heater, and Joe Doerfler.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Mt. Hope Cemetery Fund in care of the family.
