OBITUARY: 
Thomas Benton Patton, age 71 years, died at the residence, 4145 North Winter Street, Jan. 16. He was the husband of Alice Downing Patton, father of Mrs. W. A. Jones, Mrs. Elmer Downing, Mrs. Albert Mader; brother of Mrs. Sarah C. Downing, Mrs. E. M. Clymer, A. J. Frank and E. B. Patton; also survived by four grandchildren.
Funeral services Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 1 o’clock from the Rigdon Mortuary. The body will lie in state until the hour of the funeral, when the casket will be permanently closed. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waldo Hills.
