OBITUARY:
Silverton – Winifred J. Riches, 91, died Monday. Born in North Powder, she moved to Silverton as a child. She was a member of the Silverton United Methodist Church and worked as a homemaker at private homes here.
She is survived by her brother, Theodore Riches, of Silverton.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Silverton Hospital Building Fund or Mount Hope Cemetery.
