OBITUARY: 
Currie Rites to be Sunday – Silverton, Jan 31 – Funeral services for Lillian Gertrude Currie, 71, who died early today at her home in the Waldo Hills, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from Ekman’s Memorial Chapel here. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Born June 25, 1875 on the Hibbard donation land claim, she was married June 26, 1901 to John C. Currie, who survives, also three children, Helen Alm, Silverton; John Hibbard Currie, Portland; July Whalley, Mt. Vernon, Wash.; sisters, Mrs. H.H. Paget, Mrs. George E. Hall, Silverton; brother Claude Hibbard, Sacramento; one grandchild.
The Rev. Louis White of Knight Memorial Congregational Church will officiate at the funeral service.
