1910 WA CENSUS - Rodger [sic] Keane, age 4, b. Oregon [sic], is enumerated with father Edward Keane, age 33, occupaton architect, b. New York, and [mother] Ida T., age 36, b. Iowa, along with Ruth, age 4 [twin], b. Oregon, and Gordon, age 2, b. Oregon.

OBITUARY: 
Roger Hunter Keane, MD, was born in Wallace, Idaho on August 11, 1905. He graduated from Pendleton High School, also from Pharmacy School at Washington State University and from the University of Oregon Medical School in 1933. He then spent three more years at the University of Oregon Medical School specializing in Internal Medicine before going to John’s Hopkins Hospital for one year.
He has practiced in downtown Portland since 1937, except for three years that were spent in the Navy during World War II as a Lt. Commander in the Medical Corp. He was a member of the American College of Physicians, a member of North Pacific Society of Internal Medicine, the Multnomah County Medical Association, the Oregon Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the Waverly Country Club. He was active for many years in the Oregon Heart Association and was President for two years, and he also was on the Board of the American Heart Association for four years.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his son, J. Michael Keane, MD; a daughter, Patricia Chaney; and a brother, Gordon H. Keane, all of Portland, Oregon; five grandchildren also survive.
He requested to be cremated and to be buried in a family plot at Mt. Hope Cemetery near Silverton, Oregon. Contributions can be made to a charity of your choice or to The Oregon Heart Association.
Funeral services under the direction of Hennessey, Goetsch & McGee Mortuary. At his request, no services will be held. [Information supplied by Hennessey, Goetsch & McGee Mortuary].
