OBITUARY:
Canby – Robert B. Robinson, 40, formerly of Silverton, died Sunday in Canby.
A native of Concord, Calif., he graduated from Vintage High School in Napa, Calif. He attended one year of college. From 1974 to 1976, he served in the Marine Corps. He was a Teamster with the Santa Fe Railroad. He worked on the West Coast. In 1988 he moved to the Willamette Valley, and most recently resided in Canby.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling to the mountains and desert, and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his parents, Roger and Joy Robinson of Silverton; father, Robert Thomas of Courtside, Ariz.; and sister, Rene Robinson of Tigard.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today in Mount Hope Cemetery, Salem. Contributions: American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Unger Funeral Home, Silverton.
