OBITUARY: 
Olive P. Ottaway, 97, died Sunday.
She was born near her family's farm near Silverton and lived there until her health failed in 1987. She graduated from Silverton High School in 1914.
She was a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft and the Willard Women's Club.
Survivors include her nieces, Beryle Riches of Silverton and Carma Cook of Salem; and nephews, Perl Bye of Mt. Angel and Orren and Hollis Ottaway, both of Dallas.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Hope Cemetery in Salem. Visiting hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in Unger Mortuary.
