OBITUARY: 
James B. Bradley, 71, died Thursday in Salem. He was born in Blanket, Texas. He and his wife, Vickie L., were married in 1949 in Nashville, Tenn. He came to Salem in 1981. He was a service manager for General Motors dealerships, primarily in California, for more than 40 years. He was later a motel manager for six years. He retired in 1981. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Bonnie McBride of El Paso, Texas and Carol Zirkle of Salem; sons, Dr. Jimmie Bradley of Mount Clemens, Mich., and Capt. Gary W. Bradley of the Marine Corps; and brother Dale of Montclair, Calif.
Visiting will be from 9 a.m. to noon today in Virgil T. Golden Mortuary, Salem. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. Monday in Bethel Baptist Church, Aumsville. Private interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Salem. Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund, P.O. Box 167, Aumsville 97325.
