OBITUARY: 
Pioneer Woman’s Funeral Monday – Silverton, January 17 – Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, 55, who died Saturday, will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, Rev. W.S. Gordon officiating. Jack & Eckman are in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at the Warren Cemetery in the Waldo Hills.
Mrs. Anderson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dewey Allen, who is the only surviving near relative. Born in Hungary, Elizabeth Lindbeck came to America as a young child with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lindbeck, who are prominent pioneers here. She lived nearly all her life in the vicinity of Silverton and in Salem. She was married in 1898 to George Anderson of Salem. They were prominent workers in the Baptist church in that city for many years.

Rites Held Monday for Mrs. Anderson – Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, who passed away Saturday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dewey Allen. Mrs. Anderson had been ill for the last three weeks. She was 55 years old. She is survived by her daughter, her mother in Salem, a brother, and one grandson.
The last rites for Mrs. Anderson were conducted by the Rev. Stover, pastor of a Salem Methodist church, in the Jack & Ekman funeral parlors. She was laid to rest in the family plot in the Warren Cemetery in the Waldo Hills, next to the resting place of her husband, who died a number of years ago. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Baptist church.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Vienna, Hungary, October 26, 1875. When she was 12 years old, she came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andreas Limbeck. In 1898 she was married to George Anderson.
